EUROPEAN REFUGE/ES:

CRITICAL DIALOGUE ON THE ‘CRISIS’ BY REFUGEES AND NON-REFUGEES

EUROPEAN REFUGE/ES is an innovative academic virtual exchange programme designed by the Sharing Perspectives Foundation in collaboration with universities and refugee organisations across Europe. This programme brings refugees and non-refugees together in a virtual classroom to discuss and shape a new understanding of the refugee ‘crisis’.

In this 10-week programme you will get to explore in more depth issues such as European policy response; the rise of nationalism; the role of media; and what it means to belong or feel marginalised.

You will have the opportunity to learn from expert professors and practitioners from across Europe as well as from each other in live, facilitated seminars that build up relationships of trust and mutual understanding. You will conduct a large European-wide survey research and short video interviews. At the end of the programme there is the opportunity to present your findings to European policymakers at the summit in Brussels!

The programme starts on Monday March 13th and ends on May 19th 2017. Please apply as soon as possible and before February 27th.

To enrol for this course please contact me and apply directly at the Sharing Perspectives Foundation’s website + in the Osnabrück Stud.IP.

For more details and to fill in your application form please visit the website.

There will be local feedback sessions. The dates will be announced after Feb 27.
